Haiti Natural Disaster

Yesterday, Haiti was struck with a massive earthquake of 7.0 at approximately 4:55 pm, and several aftershocks following between the magnitudes 5.0 and 5.9 on the richter scale. Haiti is just off the coast of the Caribbean, near Cuba. They were the most affected by the quake, alongside the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, as well as Venezuela. There has been an undetermined number of casualties, but thousands are missing and several hundred are injured. Around the world, everyone is giving all they can to aid the Haitian Nation, as well; Canada is sending over a recon team, a C-17 Aircraft filled with medical aid, search and rescue helicopters, and $5 Million Dollars over to Haiti.
